Our Native Bees by Paige Embry

'Our Native Bees: North America's Endangered Pollinators and the Fight to Save Them' by Paige Embry is 2018 Timber Press book that explores the Pollinator Decline issue and highlighting the importance of Native Bee species and some of the specifics threats they are facing. Though there is much fairly depressing statistics and facts about dropping populations and extinctions, most of the book is surprisingly positive, focusing on the many initiatives taking place at municipal, commercial and residential scales to better support and better understand our wealth of native bees. This book focuses for the most part on specific West Coast examples, but still includes enough national and occasional even Northeastern cases to be a useful tool.
